William Kabogo Gitau (born 4 April 1964) is a Kenyan politician. He is the Member of Parliament for Juja Constituency[1] and is with the NARC-Kenya party.[2]
He won the parliamentary seat at the Juja by-elections on September 20, 2010. Alice Wambui of Kenya National Congress was distant second, while the previous MP, George Thuo of PNU was left third [3].
On June 2011 Mr. Kabogo was questioned by police about his involvement in the murder of a masters student at University of nairobi, Mercy Chepkosgei Keino on June 17th 2011, Ms. Keino had allegedly attended a party also attended by Kabogo in Wasini Luxury Homes Nairobi, She had an argument with him and stormed out of the building where she was followed by some men, Her dead body was found run over by vehicles on Waiyaki way nearby allegedly dumped from a black Mercedes car. [4] The investigation is still going on. He is also suspected of being one of kenyas drug barons
